Mr Rufus Cartwright is professional, knowledgeable, clear, and reassuring when interacting with patients. He listens to concerns and explains various treatment options, ensuring patients feel informed and comfortable. Patients highlight his surgical expertise and excellent care, noting improved quality of life following operations, including procedures such as flexicystoscopy. His distinguished competence across Gynaecology, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, and Uro-Gynaecology forms a strong basis for patient trust.
Dr Rufus Cartwright is very knowledgeable in the area of uro-gynaecology and keeps himself updated on the latest technologies to relieve urine incontinence for example. He made otherwise difficult examinations, more relaxing, quick and as painless as possible. I would highly recommend to anyone struggling with prolapse, urine inconsistent, and other gynaecological concerns. Thank you for helping me make sense of my symptoms and finding a way forward.
Mr Cartwright was direct , looked me in the eyes , explained the problem and the corrective procedure with pictures as well as words . He also was prepared to do the surgery soon . I feel he is interested in helping improve my quality of life .
Dr Rufus, is a well experienced, kind and very professional. He explains everything in detail and always tries to be helpful.
Mr Cartwright is an exceptional surgeon. I was lucky to find him on my quest for a successful operation. i had put off having my prolapse operated on as I needed to find someone I could trust. I had a retrocele prolapse repaired whilst awake, which made for a quicker recovery. Mr Cartwright gave me good advice which I needed to hear and also listened to my wishes to keep my uterus and ovaries intact. His communication skills are very good and after talking the operation through, I trusted that had he needed to do more than I had hoped he would be the surgeon in whom I could trust to make the right decision.for the best possible outcome. Mr Cartwright came to visit me throughout the weekend after my operation and has been available for any questions I have needed answering. He has gone above and beyond my expectations and I am happy to recommend him to anyone searching for the answer to their own variation of surgery in this area. The recovery time varies I imagine between all of us but my advice is to be careful for the longest time possible after surgery.
Me Cartwright was as ever sympathetic but dynamic and proactive. An extremely helpful consultation.
Mr Cartwright been fantastic throughout - incredibly knowledgable, diligent and considerate.
Excellent - felt listened to and surgery a success for which I’m very grateful
Most recent was a telephone call consultation. All very clear and helpful.
Mr Cartwright came through when the NHS failed me. Calm, professional and reassuring (and actually listened, not always a given in my experience!). I have a somewhat complicated health condition, and over the years have dealt with a variety of doctors. From a patient point of view, I can wholeheartedly say that Mr. Cartwright is one of the best.
Mr. Rufus Cartwright has been very clear in explaining my pelvic prolapse issue. He is transparent, sensible, and honest in his approach, which has given me a lot of confidence and trust in him. He is highly knowledgeable, and I feel reassured knowing I am in capable hands. I cannot wait to have the surgery and hopefully improve my quality of life. I am extremely grateful to be under his care.
