Dr Robert Murray

Dr Robert Murray is a Consultant Endocrinologist specialising in Endocrinology & Diabetes. He provides compassionate, patient-centred care for individuals experiencing a wide range of hormonal and metabolic conditions. His practice focuses on evaluating and treating complex endocrine disorders, working collaboratively with patients to formulate tailored management plans that support long-term health and well-being.

Dr Murray holds extensive clinical expertise in pituitary and adrenal disorders. His primary areas of clinical interest include acromegaly, Cushing's disease, prolactinoma, craniopharyngioma, non-functioning pituitary adenomas, and pituitary cysts, as well as growth hormone deficiency and adrenal insufficiency such as Addison's disease. Furthermore, he evaluates and manages thyroid conditions, hyponatraemia, metabolic bone diseases such as osteoporosis, and the endocrine consequences of cancer therapies. He works closely with patients to optimise therapies, including specialised steroid replacement regimens and somatostatin analogue treatments.

Dr Murray obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a postgraduate Doctor of Medicine (MD). He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) and holds the title of Honorary Associate Professor. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Murray is actively engaged in endocrine research and serves on national clinical committees and professional advisory boards dedicated to advancing patient safety and treatment standards.
