Dr Naveed Younis

Dr. Naveed Younis is a highly skilled Consultant Endocrinologist and General Physician with over 10 years of experience in managing a wide range of endocrine disorders. He specialises in all aspects of endocrinology, including thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, hypogonadism, and pituitary conditions. Dr. Younis is particularly renowned for his expertise in diabetes management, including pre-diabetes, obesity and the complex complications associated with the condition, such as renal disease and neuropathy.

Dr. Younis trained in general medicine, diabetes, and endocrinology, gaining comprehensive knowledge in diagnostics and treatment strategies. He leads a large multidisciplinary practice, focusing on complex diabetes management, diabetic foot problems, and nephropathy. As the clinical lead for Endocrinology at University Hospital South Manchester, he is deeply involved in patient care and medical education.

In addition to his clinical role, Dr. Younis is the regional training programme director for higher specialist trainees in the North Western Deanery and an honorary lecturer at both the University of Manchester and Cardiff University.
