I am a dedicated Shoulder and Elbow Surgeon working at the University Hospitals Birmingham Foundation Trust which serves a population of over two million people. I manage patients with shoulder and elbow conditions in my NHS practice at Solihull Hospital and Good Hope Hospital. I regularly perform general orthopaedic trauma surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Heartlands Hospital, sub-specialising in complex injuries and fractures around the shoulder and elbow.
I studied Medicine at the University of Birmingham before completing my Specialist Orthopaedic training on the well-regarded Warwick Orthopaedic Training programme. I undertook my Upper Limb Fellowship at the world-renowned Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Hospital in Oswestry where I was able to develop expertise in complex open and arthroscopic shoulder and elbow procedures. I was awarded the prestigious Watanabe Travelling Fellowship in arthroscopic techniques in 2019 which allowed me to learn state of the art arthroscopic techniques from leading shoulder surgeons across the United Kingdom.
