Mr Robert G. Anderson, a dedicated Consultant General and Upper GI Surgeon with a passion for academic excellence, clinical proficiency, and the well-being of his patients. Mr Anderson brings a wealth of experience, a solid educational background, and a commitment to advancing the field of surgery.

As a Consultant Upper GI Surgeon, Mr Anderson has been serving at University Hospital Wishaw since February 2023. In this role, he performs a wide range of surgical procedures, including emergency interventions, major upper GI resections, and complex therapeutic endoscopies including ERCP. Mr Anderson's expertise and dedication ensure that his patients receive the highest standard of care.

Throughout his career, Mr Anderson has undergone extensive training in various aspects of surgery, including Oesophagogastric Surgery, Pancratico-biliary Surgery, and General Surgery. His training placements have provided him with invaluable mentorship from leading experts in the field, further enhancing his surgical skills and knowledge.

Mr Anderson is not only a skilled practitioner but also an enthusiastic researcher. He has actively engaged in research projects, resulting in several publications and presentations.
