Dr Robert David Wiltshire

Dr Robert David Wiltshire is an Anaesthetist.

Dr Wiltshire trained at Guy's, Kings' and St. Thomas' School of Medicine and qualified with distinctions in clinical practice and clinical science. They worked as a doctor in emergency medicine, general surgery and respiratory medicine before commencing specialty training in anaesthesia. In 2014 Dr Wiltshire was admitted as a fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and was awarded the Nuffield Medal. They completed specialty training in the Wessex deanery and in addition has undertaken fellowships at Charing Cross Hospital, London (airway) and Queensland, Australia (perioperative medicine and anaesthesia for major general surgery). In 2017, Dr Wiltshire completed the postgraduate diploma in perioperative medicine at University College London developing interests in frailty, preoperative assessment and shared decision making. Dr Wiltshire is an advanced life support instructor for the Resuscitation Council and is an examiner for Southampton University Medical School.
