Dr Ritu Singla

Dr Singla is a Consultant Dermatologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care across all aspects of general and surgical dermatology. She treats a broad spectrum of skin conditions, offering diagnostic evaluations and evidence-based management plans tailored to individual needs. Known for her approachable and open style, Dr Singla ensures that patients feel heard and reassured throughout their consultations, emphasising holistic care and patient education alongside medical treatment.

In her clinical practice, Dr Singla specialises in the assessment and treatment of both benign and malignant skin lesions. Her core interests include mole monitoring, skin cancer diagnosis (including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma), and pre-cancerous conditions such as actinic keratoses. She routinely performs surgical procedures to excise skin lesions to a high standard. Furthermore, Dr Singla possesses significant experience in managing chronic inflammatory skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, and melasma, as well as treating sun-sensitive rashes and hair disorders including alopecia.

Dr Singla qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1998 before pursuing postgraduate training in the field of skin health. She earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Dermatology from the St John's Institute of Dermatology at King's College London in 2007. Additionally, she holds the Specialty Certificate in Dermatology (SCE) and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP UK). Dr Singla maintains active professional memberships with the British Association of Dermatologists and the British Association of Psychodermatology, keeping her knowledge aligned with current clinical guidelines and therapeutic advancements.
