Dr Rita Joarder

Dr Rita Joarder is a dedicated Consultant Radiologist who provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging services to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Working across diagnostic radiology, Dr Joarder utilises advanced imaging technology to deliver precise and timely reports, offering reassurance and clarity to patients and referring clinicians alike.

Dr Joarder has a particular clinical focus on thoracic imaging and cross-sectional diagnostic procedures. Her areas of clinical practice include chest CT scanning, abdominal MRI scans, pelvic MRI scans, and chest X-ray interpretation. Alongside her clinical duties, Dr Joarder is a published author of medical textbooks and research articles specialising in chest radiologic techniques. She is also a General Medical Council Recognised Trainer, actively participating in the education and guidance of junior doctors and medical trainees.

Dr Joarder completed her undergraduate medical education at the University of London, graduating in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. Following her primary medical qualification, she completed a specialised one-year fellowship in open magnetic resonance imaging at a London hospital. Her professional credentials include fellowships with both the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Radiologists.
