Dr Rita Abdulkader

Dr Rita Abdulkader is a highly dedicated Consultant Rheumatologist who provides expert care for patients experiencing a wide range of musculoskeletal and rheumatic conditions. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, she focuses on diagnosing and managing complex disorders affecting the joints, bones, and muscles. Her clinical practice is characterised by a commitment to early intervention, helping patients manage chronic pain, reduce long-term disability, and improve their overall quality of life.

Throughout her career, Dr Abdulkader has developed a particular clinical interest in metabolic bone disease, osteoporosis, and the use of advanced biological therapies. Her expertise also encompasses the management of inflammatory arthritis, such as rheumatoid arthritis, as well as connective tissue diseases, vasculitis, and osteoarthritis. Additionally, she provides comprehensive care for common conditions such as gout, polymyalgia rheumatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, and inflammatory back pain, tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Dr Abdulkader completed her medical degree, obtaining her Doctor of Medicine (MD) qualification, and subsequently achieved specialist accreditation in rheumatology.
