Dr Richard Perry

Dr Richard Perry is a Consultant Neurologist specialising in cognitive neurology, memory disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions. He provides comprehensive clinical evaluations for individuals experiencing memory loss, cognitive decline, and complex neurological symptoms. Dr Perry adopts a thorough, reassuring approach, working closely with patients and their families to deliver clear diagnostic insights and individualised management plans.

With extensive clinical expertise in cognitive health, Dr Perry focuses on the early diagnosis and management of Alzheimer's disease, mild cognitive impairment, and various forms of dementia. He has a particular interest in utilising advanced diagnostic tools, including amyloid PET imaging, to achieve precise diagnoses. Furthermore, he remains at the forefront of neurological care through his experience with novel disease-modifying therapies, while also evaluating patients with traumatic brain injury and general neurological conditions.

Dr Perry completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the Medical College of St Bartholomew's in 1990. He subsequently earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of London in 2000 and completed specialist clinical training in cognitive neurology and memory disorders at leading academic centres in Cambridge and San Francisco. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP).
