Dr Ramy Elkady

Dr Ramy Elkady is an accomplished Consultant Vascular Surgeon who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals experiencing a wide range of circulatory and vascular conditions. Driven by a commitment to clinical excellence, he focuses on delivering tailored treatment strategies that prioritise safety, functional recovery, and long-term wellbeing. Dr Elkady obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) and completed a Master of Science (MSc) at Ain Shams University. He subsequently undertook higher surgical training across the United Kingdom and Ireland, achieving Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS) and obtaining his Fellowship in Vascular Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (FRCSI Vasc) in 2022. To further advance his academic expertise, he completed postgraduate clinical research training through the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Harvard Medical School. He maintains active professional memberships with respected surgical bodies, including the Vascular Society and the Egyptian Society of Vascular Surgery.

Specialising in open vascular surgery as well as minimally invasive endovascular techniques, Dr Elkady has a dedicated clinical interest in diabetic foot salvage, amputation prevention, and complex peripheral arterial disease. His therapeutic expertise encompasses pedal bypass surgery, carotid endarterectomy and stenting for stroke prevention, endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR), and varicose vein treatments. Working within a multidisciplinary framework, Dr Elkady applies evidence-based methods to restore circulatory function, manage complex lower limb conditions, and significantly improve patient quality of life.
