I believe strongly in the mentorship responsibilities that come with experience and seniority. I strive to mentor students and surgical trainees in clinical practice and to encourage the pursuit of academia. I have been faculty in multiple education courses across the UK - through this, I contribute to the training of future NHS oncoplastic breast surgeons as well as keeping myself up to date.

Mr Rajiv Dave offers clear and caring explanations to patients. He shows strong surgical skill for breast cancer procedures; many report excellent breast reconstruction results. Successful parathyroid and thyroid surgeries often result in minimal scarring. Patients greatly value his expertise, especially for breast cancer, thyroid problems, and thyroidectomy.
I attended a pre-operative appointment today. I saw another doctor who took feedback and asked how I was recovering. I then saw Dr Dave who summarised our discussion and explained I’d be seen again in a few months. I was sent for a blood test and the results appeared on the app the same day. The whole surgical experience was positive and I hope for long lasting results.
I can’t thank Mr Dave enough for everything he did for me. Being diagnosed with breast cancer at 33 was the most frightening experience of my life, but from the moment I met Mr Dave, I knew I was in the safest hands. He handled every step of my treatment with incredible professionalism, honesty and kindness. What meant the world to me was that he understood I wasn’t just worried about surviving. As a young woman, I was terrified about losing my breasts and what that would mean for my confidence. Mr Dave did absolutely everything he could to preserve them, and somehow they’ve ended up looking even better than they did before. He didn’t just save my life, he saved my boobs too, and for that I will be forever grateful. One of the things I admired most was how genuine he was. He never sugar-coated anything and always made sure I understood every possible outcome, which built so much trust. At the same time, he gave me confidence and reassurance without ever making promises he couldn’t keep. It’s a rare balance, and one that made such a difficult journey so much easier. I’ll never forget the moment he told me I didn’t need chemotherapy. He was genuinely excited for me and celebrated the news with us. It didn’t feel like he was simply delivering another patient’s results. It felt personal. That moment showed me just how much he truly cares about every single person he treats. Mr Dave is not only an exceptionally talented surgeon but also a genuinely compassionate human being. I will always be grateful for his skill, his honesty, and the kindness he showed me throughout one o...

They combined exceptional skill with genuine compassion, always taking the time to listen, explain my options, and reassure me. I felt completely supported and in safe hands throughout my treatment. I would highly recommend them and am sincerely grateful for everything they have done.
Treated for hyperparathryodism, and had a parathyroid exploration. Fantastically successful operation for which I am eternally grateful. I feel incredibly well after, and my scar is almost invisible.
This whole experience has been positive and well managed. Mr Dave and all of his team have been pleasant and made me feel safe and cared for. Thank you.
Experience was excellent. Everything ran smoothly and staff were very polite, helpful and played a big role in making the experience pleasant.
I cannot recommend MR Dave highly enough, from my first consultation, he clearly explained my procedure, the risks and recovery which immediately put me at ease.
I cannot recommend my surgeon Mr Rajiv Dave highly enough He put me completely at ease , listening carefully to what my concerns were . Explaining with such empathy the options available and guiding me through all the procedures leading up to my surgery , The surgery went well and although this was for breast cancer the results of how my breasts look is truly amazing and considering the procedure. He ensured that my family were included in all consultations, I feel incredibly fortunate to have been under the care of such a dedicated specialist.
Mr Dave was extremely patient, empathetic and knowledgable. He explained everything clearly and thoroughly and was able to answer all my questions. He provided reassurance at a time of great distress and uncertainty. I felt very lucky to be under his care.
I am extremely grateful to mr Dave, and his team , I am very happy with my breast surgery and reconstruction, I cannot express my gratitude. The process from the very beginning was to avoid a tattoo I have on my side under arm, as mr Dave had expressed he would try his best too and he did. I do not recommend having cancer but I am so happy with my outcome and will be forever thankful to the whole team
