Dr Rachel Rowlands

Dr Rachel Rowlands is a dedicated Paediatrician and Consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine who provides expert clinical care for infants, children, and young people. Specialising in acute and emergency medical care, Dr Rowlands focuses on delivering prompt, comprehensive medical assessment and treatment for young patients facing acute health issues and medical emergencies. Her clinical approach emphasises compassionate, reassuring, and family-centred care, ensuring that both young patients and their guardians feel supported during critical moments.

Her primary clinical interests encompass a wide spectrum of paediatric acute care, including emergency resuscitation, paediatric trauma management, and acute respiratory conditions. Dr Rowlands also maintains a strong focus on child safeguarding, non-accidental injury assessment, and child death reviews.
