Professor Sanjeev Madaan

Professor Sanjeev Madaan is an expert laparoscopic surgeon based in hospitals in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. He is a lead clinical lead at Darent Valley Hospital for the treatment of urological cancer. His specialism is in general urology and urological oncology and his areas of interest are prostate diseases, prostate cryotherapy, bladder problems, urological oncology, laparoscopic procedures, incontinence, impotence and testis related problems.

Professor Madaan completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Master of Science at the University of Delhi in 1988 and 1991 respectively. He attained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow in 1995.  In 2003 he completed his PhD.  He attained his fellowship in Urology in 2006 and his fellow of the EBU (European Board of Urology) in 2008. He has extensive clinical experience and education making him an expert in his field.

Professor Madaan has received clinical excellence awards and in 2015 he won the Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust hospital innovation and improvement award. Additionally, he has published over 100 scientific articles about his expertise and has presented at conferences. He also utilises his expertise to advise the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE).
