On initial consultation Prof Cobb explained exactly what was required. He carried out the procedure, as he had detailed. I am very pleased with the result.

Cannot recommend Professor Cobb highly enough.

Operation went well ( I think ). I was obviously disappointed that the right knee had to be operated on again 6 months after the initial operation . I had hoped that after this 6 operation he would explain in some detail why this time the operation should be successful- which he thought was the case already after the first operation in May 2021

Empathetic excellent explanation I was somewhat groggy whenever he visited me post op as it was c 7am after a bad night!

I know that Prof Cobb is an extremely busy man but could possibly have spent just a little more time after the op explaining how the procedure went etc . But maybe less is more!

Professor Cobb went out of his way to accommodate me, not only when I managed to show up late TWICE for my appointments, but also in taking the time to explain the surgery and advise me post-op. I feel privileged to have been his patient and that I got into the clinical trial he is running. I hope my experience benefits other hip patients in future.

The treatment I received from Professor Cobb exceeded my expectations, which had been formed on the experience of friends who had been treated by Prof. Cobb. He came to see me every morning and evening and I could not have hoped for more
