Mr Prakash Rughani

Mr Prakash Rughani is a Specialist Optometrist and an award-winning author of the book Illuminating the Twilight. He has over 30 years of experience in eyecare following his graduation from the City University, London. As well as consulting at his family-owned independent practices and his private Harley Street clinic, he also works alongside consultants from Moorfields Eye Hospital in a pioneering glaucoma clinic and has also worked at Guy's Hospital in London. He is currently the Chairman of the NHS Local Optical Committee for Barnet, Enfield, Haringey and Camden.

Prakash has immense knowledge and expertise in both Adult and Children medical eye examinations, dry eyes, myopia management, orthokeratology to name a few. Additionally, he has guided over fifty graduates through their post-graduate training and beyond over the last 25 years. Outside his professional work, he has set up a seniors cricket club including organising tours of Spain and enjoys playing rock guitar.
