Dr. Pradeep Mundre

Dr. Pradeep Mundre is a highly experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist and Advanced Endoscopist at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Yorkshire clinic, where he has been practising since 2014. His expertise lies in advanced therapeutic endoscopy and endoscopic imaging, with a particular focus on Barrett’s dysplasia management (EMR and RFA), upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). He is also an accredited Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (BCSP) colonoscopist.

Beyond his specialisation in advanced endoscopic techniques, Dr. Mundre has extensive experience in managing gastrointestinal cancers, pre-malignant conditions, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), abdominal pain, dyspepsia, changes in bowel habits, diarrhoea, consitipation and reflux disease. His dedication to cancer screening and early detection plays a vital role in improving patient outcomes.

Dr. Mundre is deeply involved in medical education and training, both nationally and internationally. He regularly teaches at United European Gastroenterology (UEG) Summer School, British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) Endoscopy Village, ESGE Days, UEG Week, and various other prestigious International educational meetings. His expertise in training future gastroenterologists and endoscopists contributes to the advancement of endoscopic procedures worldwide.

In addition to his clinical and teaching roles, Dr. Mundre is actively engaged in multicentre clinical trials, currently serving as a Principal Investigator. He has collaborated on national and international research projects, furthering advancements in gastroenterology and endoscopic interventions.

He also serves as a podcast host for UEG podcast(search UEG podcast on spotify or apple or google) and has been elected  Endoscopy Committee member of the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG). He is the current course co-director for UEG summer school
