Miss Pippa Letchworth

Miss Pippa Letchworth is a highly experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, based at The Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, London. She graduated from the University of Bristol in 2003 and became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2008. She holds additional qualifications including a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education.

Miss Letchworth provides expert care across a broad range of women’s health services, with particular specialism in antenatal care, gynaecology, early pregnancy complications, recurrent miscarriage, menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and menopause management. She also offers well woman checks, sexual health screening, and a variety of outpatient procedures such as smear tests, IUD/coil fittings, and vaginal pessary management.

Fluent in French, Miss Letchworth is also internationally recognised for her work in global maternal healthcare. She has delivered life-saving care and clinician training in challenging and resource-limited settings across Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. A committed educator, she lectures widely on maternal health both in the UK and abroad, including on MSc and MPH programmes. Her compassionate, patient-focused approach ensures women feel respected, informed, and supported throughout their care.
