Mr Philip Pucher

Mr Philip Pucher is an experienced General Surgeon with expertise in upper gastrointestinal (GI) procedures and emergency surgical care. He focuses on modern minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery, to treat a range of complex abdominal conditions. His approach to patient care is built on clear communication, thorough diagnostic evaluation, and personalised treatment plans designed to deliver safe and effective outcomes.

In his clinical practice, Mr Pucher manages a broad spectrum of general and upper gastrointestinal conditions. His areas of interest include gallbladder surgery, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, oesophagogastric disorders, and emergency abdominal surgery, such as emergency laparotomy. Mr Pucher completed his primary medical degree and pursued extensive academic research at Imperial College London, where he earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focusing on surgical education, clinical simulation, and patient safety. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) and has undertaken specialised post-qualification fellowship training in upper gastrointestinal surgery.
