Dr Peter Saner

Dr Peter Saner is a dedicated Dentist and Principal Dentist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred oral healthcare. Throughout his clinical career, he has focused on delivering gentle and thorough care designed to help patients achieve and maintain optimal long-term oral health. His clinical approach emphasises preventative care, active patient communication, and creating a reassuring environment for individuals seeking routine or complex dental care.

Dr Saner earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1987. He furthered his academic and clinical training by obtaining a Master of Dental Science (MDSc) degree from the University of Dundee. Following his initial qualification, he gained valuable experience working in community dentistry in Edinburgh, supporting patients who faced challenges accessing routine services, before working within specialised healthcare settings for long-stay residents and general dental practice.

As a Dentist, Dr Saner maintains a broad scope of clinical interest with expertise in general dentistry, periodontics, orthodontics, and restorative treatments. He holds a special clinical interest in prosthodontics, particularly the craft of designing and fitting custom dentures, a discipline that formed a central part of his postgraduate Master's degree studies. Additionally, he has completed advanced training in orthodontic care and the management of periodontal disease, allowing him to offer well-rounded, effective treatment plans for patients of all ages.
