Mr Peter Robinson interacts with patients in a friendly, professional, clear, and reassuring way. He explains procedures in detail, making information easy to understand for all patients. Excellent outcomes follow procedures like percutaneous hallux valgus correction, ankle fusion, and ankle replacement. Patients experience minimal discomfort, neat scarring, and improved mobility after surgery. His effective treatment for common foot conditions is widely praised, with solutions for deformities often highlighted.
I’ve recently undergone percutaneous hallux valgus correction. And am delighted with the outcome. Mr Robinson explained my options prior to surgery. Having chosen to go ahead with the procedure everything went extremely well. I was kept fully informed throughout. My foot looks brilliant now, I have full range of movement and am able to continue with my active lifestyle. I’m very happy to recommend him.
I first saw Mr Robinson over a year ago for an ankle which had been causing me pain for a while. I underwent an ankle fusion first to stabilise the joint, followed by an ankle replacement. Mr Robinson explained everything clearly and made it easy to understand what to expect. He was sympathetic and carried out the operations and follow-up sessions exceptionally well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
Dec 15 2025 , 6 months after ankle fusion . I was dreading the operation it’s about 2 hours long I didn’t feel a thing I opted for a epidural the operation went well , the recovery isn’t easy boot for 3 months and then gradual weight bare , yes at the beginning it’s sore my fault I don’t do pain killers , I opted for a knee scooter to get around (brilliant) after about 14 weeks I could walk around carefully I did everything by the book and now 6 months on my pain is gone ,I mcan walk about 2miles easily per day . Before the operation I didn’t want to do anything I just wanted to get where ever and sit down as I was in such discomfort for me it was the best decision I have ever made . As for Mr Peter Robinson he a lovely gentleman I would trust him completely . Jeremy R
I fantastic experience! I told the team I was feeling anxious and they truly went above and beyond to help me feel calm and well looked after. Peter Robinson was fantastic at explaining what he was going to do and reassuring me everything would be well. Thank you everyone for your care!
I’m so grateful for my surgery. The scar healed beautifully, the ganglion is completely gone, and I feel so much better. I followed all the recommendations, and the result exceeded my expectations. The doctor is clearly a true professional in their field.
Right hallux valgus correction. I presented with an extremely painful bunion and bursar on my right foot. When Peter Robinson examined my foot he confirmed that surgery would be possible and explained what would happen. He also told me about the possible negative effects that could occur. On the day the surgery went really well, he spoke to me before and after surgery to confirm how it had gone. I had follow up appointments with Peter Robinson at 2 weeks to remove the dressing (this was done by one of Peter’s colleagues who was extremely efficient and helpful, sadly I’ve forgotten his name) and at 7.5 weeks for an X-ray. I’m absolutely delighted with the surgery, the appearance of my foot has improved significantly. I still experience some pain eg calf raises,; plank but am continuing to work on flexibility and massage as directed. A great outcome for me and I’m glad I had the surgery. Peter Robinson did a super job. There is minimal scarring even at 7.5 weeks. I’m optimistic for a future pain free foot. Very happy and friends have remarked on the immediate improvement in appearance.
I couldn’t be happier with the care I received. Mr Robinson’s professionalism and expertise were apparent right from the start, but what really stood out was the way he explained everything in a way that felt both thorough and easy to understand. He took the time to listen carefully, which gave me real confidence going into the procedure. The result has been nothing short of incredible - the lesion was successfully removed and the scar is barely visible. I’m genuinely grateful for the combination of expertise, clear communication, and the outcome itself.
Mr Robinson identified the issues with my son’s ankle straight away and successfully operated on him within 6 weeks and a full recovery was made in 5 months. Many thanks Wendy J.
Peter Robinson is an exceptional consultant. Friendly, patient in his explanations and always willing to give guidance during recovery. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for ankle fusion surgery.
Very informative. Peter was helpful and answered all my questions clearly
