Dr Peter John Hoskin

Dr Peter John Hoskin is a highly accomplished Consultant Clinical Oncologist and Professor of Clinical Oncology who specialises in the non-surgical management of cancer through advanced radiotherapy techniques. He is committed to delivering individualised, reassuring, and evidence-based care tailored to each patient's specific diagnosis. His clinical focus encompasses managing complex malignancies and providing expert guidance throughout every stage of the treatment journey.

Dr Hoskin has extensive clinical interests in urological cancers, such as prostate cancer and bladder cancer, alongside gynaecological malignancies including cervical cancer and endometrial cancer. He possesses recognised expertise in precision radiation therapies, including external beam radiotherapy, high-dose-rate brachytherapy, image-guided adaptive brachytherapy, and stereotactic body radiation therapy. Additionally, Dr Hoskin manages bone metastases using targeted radiation and radionuclide therapies, with a focus on radiotherapy optimisation and biomarker integration to enhance therapeutic precision.

Dr Hoskin completed his primary medical qualification in 1978, followed by a Doctor of Medicine research degree in 1990. He subsequently completed specialist postgraduate training in Clinical Oncology.
