Dr Pavanasam Ramesh is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician and Clinical Lead who specialises in paediatric intensive care and paediatric cardiology. With a patient-centred and reassuring approach, he provides comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and young people facing acute illnesses, complex cardiac conditions, and critical care needs. Dr Ramesh is deeply committed to delivering compassionate healthcare, helping families navigate challenging clinical situations with clear guidance and empathetic support.

In his clinical practice, Dr Ramesh manages a wide range of general paediatric conditions alongside specialist cardiac and intensive care services. His expertise encompasses paediatric cardiac screening, the evaluation of heart murmurs, advanced paediatric life support, and the management of critically ill young patients. Working closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams, including specialist nurses, dietitians, and therapists, he ensures that each child receives holistic, high-quality care tailored to their individual needs.

Dr Ramesh earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and completed extensive postgraduate training in general paediatrics and paediatric critical care. He undertook advanced clinical training in paediatric cardiology in Birmingham and attained membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). Fully registered on the General Medical Council Specialist Register, Dr Ramesh maintains certification in advanced paediatric life support and regularly engages in continuing medical education and clinical audit to maintain the highest standards of care.
