Dr Paul James

Dr Paul James is a highly qualified Anaesthetist with a passion for paediatric care. Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, they pursued their medical training at the University of the Witwatersrand. Following this, Dr James specialised in anaesthesia, working in London and the South East.

Their dedication to children's anaesthesia and intensive care led them to undertake two fellowships. The first, in paediatric anaesthesia, was completed at Great Ormond Street Hospital, and the second, in paediatric intensive care, at Evelina London Children's Hospital.

Dr James is known for their expertise in sedation and analgesia in intensive care, difficult airway management in paediatrics, and the use of bronchoscopy in intensive care for both diagnosis and treatment. Their commitment to advancing the field is evident in their published research, which focuses on paediatric airway management and related areas.
