Dr Omer Aziz

Dr Omer Aziz is a highly accomplished Consultant Paediatrician who specialises in paediatric intensive care and critical care medicine. Known for his reassuring and compassionate approach, Dr Aziz is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of medical care to critically ill infants, children, and young people. He works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that young patients receive comprehensive, evidence-based treatment, while providing vital support and clear communication to their families during incredibly challenging times.

In addition to his frontline clinical work, Dr Aziz is a prominent national leader in paediatric healthcare development. He serves as the National Paediatric Clinical Lead for Organ Donation and is a founding member of the Multi-disciplinary Approach to Paediatric End of Life Education (MAPLE) project, which focuses on improving end-of-life care for children. His clinical interests also encompass paediatric critical care transport, and he actively co-leads paediatric death reviews to help standardise and elevate the quality of care across the region.
