Dr Olga Slater

Dr Olga Slater is an accomplished Consultant Paediatric Oncologist who provides expert, reassuring care for children facing complex oncological conditions. Dedicated to delivering compassionate and family-centred medical care, she supports young patients and their families through every phase of assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term recovery. Dr Slater works as part of multi-disciplinary clinical teams to formulate individualised treatment plans tailored to the precise needs of infants and children.

Dr Slater earned her medical degree from the Medical School of Zagreb in 1992. She subsequently completed extensive specialist postgraduate training in Paediatrics and Paediatric Oncology across leading healthcare institutions in London and the South East of England. Demonstrating a commitment to advancing medical research, she was awarded a PhD for her work on innovative therapies in rhabdomyosarcoma from the Institute of Cancer Research and the University of London.

In her clinical leadership roles, Dr Slater serves as Lead for Sarcoma Services and Clinical Lead for Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis. Her main clinical expertise includes the management of rare paediatric tumours, soft tissue sarcomas, and infant malignancies. She holds a dedicated focus on implementing cutting-edge oncological therapies while actively monitoring and mitigating the long-term adverse effects of cancer treatments to ensure the highest quality of life for her patients.
