Mr Noel Kelly

Noel Kelly is an addictions counsellor with a decade of specialised experience in the field. Over the years, he has worked in various addiction treatment settings, including both community-based and residential treatment centres. His career has seen him collaborate with the NHS, Avon & Somerset Police, and numerous mental health and substance misuse agencies.

At Priory Hospital Bristol, Noel serves as an addiction treatment programme facilitator. His role involves guiding and supporting individuals through their journey to recovery, using evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's needs.

Noel holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Addictions Counselling from the University of Bath. He is an active member of several professional organisations, including the Society for the Study of Addiction, the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), and the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals (FDAP). His specialised research includes the treatment of alcohol problems in primary care settings, motivational interviewing for addiction, group analysis, and the needs of boarding school survivors.
