Nish was outstanding from start to finish! I couldn’t have been happier with how my birth went, and that is largely down to the fantastic support from Nish. He was a very calming and reassuring presence throughout birth, providing very clear explanations for what was happening. His very extensive knowledge also ensured I had a seamless birth and recovery despite a very rare complication. We hope to have a second baby in the future and will definitely be looking for Nish’s support again.

Dr Nish Shah cared for me throughout my pregnancy from 22 weeks onwards, after I was admitted to hospital with a complication (PPROM). This was one of the most difficult times in my life, as we had to make some extremely hard decisions in a very short space of time in order to achieve the best possible outcome for both me and our baby. Sadly, I went into labour shortly after 22 weeks, and Dr Shah was there to deliver my baby and to manually remove the placenta in theatre. Throughout this incredibly unexpected and traumatic experience, I felt exceptionally well cared for. My recovery has been excellent — the bleeding stopped after just four days and I felt almost back to normal within two weeks. Dr Shah remained calm and provided clear, compassionate and excellent medical advice throughout a very challenging time for us. I would highly recommend him to anyone and will certainly be under his care again for my next pregnancy. Thank you.

Nish looked after me from 34 weeks during my first pregnancy when I found out I had Polyhydramnios. This caused me a lot of anxiety and my birth plan had to change to either be induced or have a c-section. During all of this Nish did absolutely everything to ensure I had the vaginal birth I wanted, he listened to my wishes and helped me understand what was going on, particularly with the induction process. He respected my want for as natural labour as possible and I am so grateful for this. Not only did he deliver my little girl safely but the aftercare that I received was outstanding! The biggest compliment I can give is if I am lucky enough to fall pregnant again I will be calling Nish to look after me!

I cannot recommend Dr. Shah highly enough. Although I was initially under midwife-led care, after two long days of labour I opted to be induced, which transferred me into Dr. Shah’s care—and I’m so grateful it did. I had met Dr. Shah once before and had already been impressed by his calm, reassuring presence and excellent bedside manner. During labour, his calmness was absolutely invaluable to me—it helped me stay calm through some incredibly intense moments. Shortly after the induction, there was a sudden panic over my baby’s heart rate and I was rushed into surgery. I had previously shared with Dr. Shah that I hoped to avoid a C-section if it was safely possible. In the midst of a very stressful moment, he took the time to double-check the situation before any surgical steps were taken. In doing so, he quickly realised something others hadn’t—that my waters hadn’t actually broken. He calmly took care of that, and from there, labour progressed beautifully. A few hours later, my healthy baby girl was born vaginally, just as I had hoped. What stands out most about Dr. Shah is his ability to balance clinical expertise with genuine empathy and respect for his patients' wishes. I trusted that he would always do what was best for my baby, while still listening to and honouring my preferences. That kind of care is truly rare. His postnatal care was equally thoughtful and attentive. If I’m lucky enough to have another baby, I’ll be requesting Dr. Shah from the very beginning if I can. To anyone looking for an obstetrician who is both highly skilled and deeply compassionate, I...

Nish was great throughout my pregnancy including before, during and after labour. He took the time to really listen to my preferences (to have a vaginal birth), helped me achieve this despite challenges during my labour, and provided really attentive aftercare.

Dr Nishel Shah diagnosed me with pre eclampsia with my first pregnancy and safely delivered my baby the following day. I am fortunate to have him as my consultant for my second pregnancy. He is exceptional in what he does. Excellent explanations and bedside manner. The appointments are never rushed, and I have been seen before the appointment time. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is seeking obstetrics services.
