Professor Nick Williams

Professor Nick Williams is an accomplished Consultant Plastic Surgeon who provides dedicated, reassuring, and patient-centred care across aesthetic, reconstructive, and hand surgery. Recognising that each patient's surgical journey is unique, he takes a thoughtful and individualised approach to clinical consultations, ensuring that individuals feel thoroughly informed, comfortable, and supported at every stage of their treatment. His practice encompasses a comprehensive spectrum of reconstructive and cosmetic procedures designed to restore function, enhance natural appearance, and improve overall quality of life.

In his clinical practice, Professor Williams offers expertise across a wide range of sub-specialties. His cosmetic work includes breast augmentation, breast uplift (mastopexy), breast reduction, and male chest reduction (gynaecomastia surgery), alongside post-mastectomy breast reconstruction. He performs facial rejuvenation procedures such as facelifts, necklifts, brow lifts, and eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), as well as body recontouring procedures including tummy tucks (abdominoplasty), liposuction, thigh lifts, and labiaplasty. Additionally, he maintains a specialised focus on hand and upper limb surgery, treating conditions such as Dupuytren's disease, carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, ganglions, nerve injuries, and small joint arthritis, alongside the surgical management of skin lesions and skin malignancies.

Professor Williams completed his primary medical degree (MB ChB) alongside an honours undergraduate degree (BSc Hons), before undertaking advanced research to earn a PhD from the University of Sheffield, where he investigated hand joint reconstruction using virtual reality technology. He completed specialist higher surgical training in plastic surgery and a sub-specialty Hand Surgical Fellowship in Leeds, subsequently attaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Plast). He maintains active professional affiliations with leading medical bodies, including the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH), the British Medical Association (BMA), and the General Medical Council (GMC).
