Dr Nicholas Schindler

Dr Nicholas Schindler is an accomplished Consultant Paediatrician dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare for infants, children, and young people. Operating with a patient-centred approach, he works closely with families to ensure that young patients receive tailored care during both acute illnesses and routine clinical consultations. His commitment to child health focuses on delivering reassuring, evidence-based medical care while maintaining clear, empathetic communication with parents and carers.

Dr Schindler earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree and subsequently completed a Master of Studies (MSt) in Medical Education at the University of Cambridge. He holds professional membership as a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Schindler serves as a Theory Examiner for the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and acts as a representative to the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges Foundation Programme Committee.

With dedicated expertise in Paediatric Emergency Medicine and acute paediatric care, Dr Schindler is highly experienced in evaluating and managing a broad spectrum of urgent childhood conditions, including complex neurological presentations such as acute childhood encephalopathy. Beyond his direct clinical practice, he is deeply committed to medical education, focusing on refining clinical assessment tools, supporting medical trainees, and integrating clinical expertise with academic research to continuously enhance standards of care.
