Mr Nic Alexander

Mr Nic Alexander is a Consultant Neonatal and Paediatric Surgeon with over two decades of experience. Having begun his medical career in 2001 and completed his training in paediatric surgery in 2014. He undertook his undergraduate medical training at Downing College, Cambridge, and University College London, followed by specialist paediatric surgical training in London, where he achieved his FRCS. His expertise was further refined through fellowships at the Royal Marsden Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

Mr Alexander has a broad clinical portfolio, including general paediatric surgery such as circumcision, hernia repair, undescended testes, and tongue tie, neonatal surgery, vascular access, and surgery for complex haemoglobinopathies such as cholecystectomy and splenectomy.

In addition to his clinical work, Mr Alexander is actively involved in research. He collaborates on a pioneering programme focused on fertility preservation for children and adolescents undergoing treatments, such as chemotherapy, that risk future infertility.

Complementing his clinical and research roles, Mr Alexander earned an MBA from Henley Business School in 2023, reflecting his commitment to leadership and healthcare innovation. His career combines surgical excellence, academic involvement, and strategic insight into paediatric care.
