Dr Naveen Mohandas

Dr Naveen Mohandas is a Consultant Gastroenterologist who provides comprehensive care for patients presenting with a wide range of digestive and gastrointestinal conditions. Serving as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Clinical Lead, he is committed to delivering thorough diagnostic assessments, evidence-based treatments, and patient-focused care. His practice encompasses the management of both acute and chronic conditions affecting the gut, liver, and abdominal organs.

In his clinical practice, Dr Mohandas handles a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders with a focus on diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. His clinical interests include the investigation and management of inflammatory bowel disease, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, liver cirrhosis, viral hepatitis, oesophageal disorders, and diseases of the pancreas and biliary tract. He is skilled in performing upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy, and holds a specific interest in enteral nutrition, including percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy feeding tube management.

Dr Mohandas completed his medical education earning his medical degree (MD) and subsequently undertook specialist higher training to obtain a Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in Gastroenterology. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians, holding MRCP (UK) status, and is fully registered on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for Gastroenterology. Through active involvement in clinical audit, educational supervision, and ongoing professional research, Dr Mohandas maintains the highest standards of clinical practice.
