Dr Nandinee Patel

Dr Nandinee Patel is an accomplished Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant Paediatric Allergist who specialises in diagnosing and managing complex allergic and immunological conditions in infants, children, and young people. With extensive expertise in general Paediatrics and sub-specialist Paediatric Allergy, she provides high-quality, compassionate clinical care designed to support growing families. Her clinical approach combines rigorous medical evidence with an empathetic understanding of the day-to-day impacts that allergic conditions can have on a child's quality of life.

Dr Patel earned her Bachelor of Arts degree and completed her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) research doctorate, along with attaining Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). She is actively involved in clinical leadership and medical education, serving as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer involved in research and teaching. Dr Patel holds professional memberships and leadership roles within major medical organisations, including the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology (BSACI) and the British Paediatric Allergy, Immunity and Infection Group (BPAIIG), as well as participating in national specialist clinical working groups.

In her day-to-day practice, Dr Patel manages a broad spectrum of paediatric allergic and respiratory diseases, including complex food allergies, severe anaphylaxis, asthma, eczema, allergic rhinitis, drug allergies, and multisystem allergic disorders. She has expertise in pioneering treatments such as oral food immunotherapy and allergen desensitisation, alongside conducting supervised oral food challenges and prescribing targeted emergency action plans. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, Dr Patel is dedicated to empowering parents and young patients with the guidance and tools required to manage health conditions safely and confidently.
