Dr Nadine Ali

Dr Nadine Ali is a highly accomplished Consultant Cardiologist and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer who specialises in diagnosing and treating a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centred care, ensuring that each individual receives a personalised treatment plan tailored to their unique symptoms and needs. Her clinical practice focuses on delivering advanced cardiac care with a reassuring and professional approach.

Dr Ali has a particular sub-specialist interest in heart failure, complex cardiac device therapy, and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Her clinical expertise encompasses the management of atrial fibrillation, arrhythmias, and electrophysiology. She is highly skilled in advanced pacing techniques, including cardiac resynchronisation therapy, conduction system pacing, and the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators. Through these minimally invasive procedures, she aims to restore optimal heart rhythms and improve the overall quality of life for her patients.

Dr Ali completed her primary medical qualification, obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMBCh) degree. She went on to complete her specialist training in Cardiology in the East Midlands. Driven by a passion for clinical innovation, she was awarded a PhD from Imperial College London, where her research focused on conduction system pacing as a novel modality for cardiac resynchronisation. Her academic contributions have been widely published in high-impact medical journals, and she was honoured with the prestigious Heart Rhythm Congress Young Investigator Award in 2021. Dr Ali is an active member of several professional bodies, including the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) and the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA).
