Dr. Nader Khandanpour

Dr Nader Khandanpour is a consultant neuroradiologist with clinical interests in brain and spine CT and MRI, paediatrics and neonatal brain & spine, brain cancers, stroke and cerebrovascular disease, Multiple sclerosis (MS), dementia and neurodegenerative diseases, epilepsy, and Parkinson's disease. He holds NHS appointments at St George's Hospital, London, and consults privately at the London Clinic. Dr Khandanpour is also a senior lecturer in diagnostic radiology at the University of London and is an expert reviewer of several journals including The Lancet and BMJ Heart.

After graduating with an MD in 2000, Dr Khandanpour undertook radiology training in Yorkshire and later achieved a Pan London Neuroradiology fellowship. He has spent time working in seven prominent neuroscience centres including Great Ormond Street Hospital, the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, and Barts and The London NHS Trust. He also gained a PhD where he researched atherosclerosis, vascular disease, and genetics. During his career, Dr Khandanpour has achieved a number of accolades including the National Institute of Health Academic Fellowship and the UK-CCRN National Portfolio Study award. He is widely published and has presented his work at numerous conferences including the European Congress of Neuroradiology and the Radiology Society of North America.
