Dr Muzahir Tayebjee

Dr Muzahir Tayebjee is a Consultant Cardiologist and Cardiac Electrophysiologist who specialises in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of complex heart rhythm disorders and general cardiovascular conditions. Driven by a compassionate, patient-centred approach, he combines advanced clinical techniques with evidence-based medicine to improve cardiovascular health outcomes for his patients. He works collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver individualised treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific cardiac needs.

In his clinical practice, Dr Tayebjee focuses on invasive and non-invasive cardiac electrophysiology. His clinical expertise encompasses the comprehensive management of cardiac arrhythmias, including performing catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and supraventricular tachycardia. He is also highly skilled in cardiac device therapy, regularly undertaking the implantation and ongoing monitoring of pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronisation devices. Additionally, Dr Tayebjee plays an active role in modernising cardiac care through digital health initiatives, remote mobile monitoring technologies, and virtual care pathways.

Dr Tayebjee earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) with Honours, and subsequently completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) research degree. He is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK). Alongside his clinical commitments, he actively contributes to arrhythmia research and clinical trials, contributes regularly to academic publications, and remains dedicated to teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate medical trainees.
