Miss Bathula is a consultant gynaecologist who specialises in managing menstrual problems, prolapse, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, menopause and abnormal smears.

She performs procedures including: hysteroscopy, endometrial ablations, laparoscopic treatment for endometriosis and chronic pelvis pain and abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies.

Her special interests are Colposcopy (she is a BSCCP accredited Colposcopist), Outpatient Hysteroscopy, Urogynaecology and minimal access surgery. She is also trained in looking after patients with adolescent gynaecology problems including menstrual irregularities.

She qualified from one of the premier medical institutes of India, JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education Research) Pondicherry, South India. She completed her early years of training in India then continued in the West Midlands. She completed her specialist training in the West Midlands and at the Wessex deanery.
