My mum visited Mr Kersey for a second opinion following a procedure on her eye, carried out by another ophthalmic surgeon, that had not gone well. Mr Kersey was thorough in his inspection of Mum's eye and review of her drug regime. He clearly listened carefully to my mum's concerns and was able to reassure her. Mr Kersey's strengths are his considerable experience and that he is a good communicator. Mum has been a patient of Mr Kersey, on and off, for many years and in that time she and I have built up trust in his abilities and his character. I highly recommend him.

I found Mr Kersey to be very personable and approachable as well as being a very experienced and professional eye specialist. His advice on the type of replacement lens implants for cataract surgery proved to give excellent post operation eyesight. The suggested toric monfocal lens in the dominant eye to correct astigmatism and optimise distance vision, combined a few weeks later with an Extended Depth of Field (EDOF) lens chosen to leave a minus half dioptre result in the second eye for improved intermediate and near vision, gave an excellent and well balanced blended result between the two eyes of sharp distance and intermediate vision and very usable near vision for most day to day situations. I can now comfortably read my laptop and mobile phone without the need for reading glasses, and only occasionally use low powered ready reader glasses for very small print on food labels and the like, while distance vision for driving and other activities is now excellent too. Couldn't recommend Mr Kersey, and his excellent and very efficient and helpful secretary Carol, highly enough, you will be in very good hands throughout.

I was very keen to have a legion near one of my eyes removed as soon as possible. I called Mr Kersey's office and due to a cancellation I got an appointment that morning and he performed the procedure by end of the week with care, efficiently and professionally. The post-op consultations for care of the wound have been very useful. I could not have hoped for a better experience.
