I recently underwent a septoplasty and rhinoplasty with Professor Paul Chatrath, and I could not be more pleased with the results. From the initial consultation through to the post-operative care, the entire experience was excellent. Professor Paul Chatrath is exceptionally skilled and clearly highly experienced in his field. The outcome of my surgery looks completely natural and has significantly improved both the appearance and function of my nose. Not only does it look great, but my breathing has improved dramatically since the procedure. The difference in day-to-day comfort is remarkable, and the overall result feels as good as it looks. I would also like to mention the anaesthetist and the wider surgical team, who were incredibly professional and reassuring. The anaesthetist was very comforting before the procedure and helped me feel completely at ease. The surgery itself was far less daunting than I had expected, and the process was not painful, which made the entire experience much more comfortable. What stood out most was his professionalism and kindness throughout the process. He took the time to answer every question I had in detail and ensured I felt fully informed before making any decisions. While he offered his expert opinion on what he believed would work best, he never pressured me and ultimately left the final decision entirely up to me. In my experience, his expertise and results exceed those of many cosmetic surgeons. I am incredibly grateful for the care and skill he demonstrated, and I would highly recommend Professor Paul Chatrath to anyone consid...
Read moreProfessor Chatrath is very professional as a Consultant ENT Surgeon. He listened carefully to my symptoms and explained to me clearly about my nasal conditions. I was able to recover speedily with the treatment advised by him.
Very impressed with Prof Chatrath’s approach and professionalism in ensuring that my surgery was conducted in the best possible manner.
I met Prof Chatrath about a strongman/powerlifting injury in 2025 and whilst checking ENT bits, he said he found a deviated septum, over the past year I have had more and more difficulties breathing through my nose due to heavy lifting, I got an appointment, he was friendly, calm and very professional, checked everything, told me exactly what the issue was and the offered solutions, in this case surgery. I was taken into surgery on 20th Feb 26, he again dealt with me very professionally, answered all my questions and gave me 100% confidence in being looked after, operated on and gave me full advice & time to explain post surgery. I am very pleased and grateful to him, thank you.
An exceptional clinician, he is highly regarded by patients for his clear communication and meticulous approach to clinical management.

They can be caused by infections, allergic rhinitis, trauma and other medical conditions, and can be made worse by alterations in atmospheric conditions such as temperature and/or humidity changes. Treatments are available including topical nasal sprays and creams, nasal cauterisation and medications to stop bleeding.

Undergoing a rhinoplasty (or nose job) is a big decision for most people, as it potentially involves a change to a key part of your overall appearance and character. It is something not to go into lightly and you should do as much research on the procedure as you can. There are lots of considerations, including what you would like to achieve (eg. nasal tip, dorsum, nasal base etc), how it will be done (eg. open, closed) and to what extent you would like to change your nose. This is where the majority of the time will be spent, in order to ensure as good preoperative planning as possible. A brief psychological review is also likely, and image manipulation can also be useful in some cases. Please click on the link for more information.

ClarifixTM cryotherapy is a minimally invasive treatment option for patients with a runny nose. It involves freezing the nerve endings at the back of the nose under local or general anaesthetic, with few if any side effects, and a good chance of improvement of your symptoms. It is important to be properly investigated to rule out or fully treat any allergies that you might have, and to manage any other coexistent conditions such as a deviated nasal septum. If you have been struggling with a very runny nose and have tried all other medical options available, it might be worth considering this.
