Mr Churunal Hari

Mr Churunal Hari is an experienced Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon with special interests in chronic cough, pharyngeal pouch, sinusitis and head & neck oncology. He is based in the West Midlands and currently sees private patients at Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Hospital in Shrewsbury and Apley Clinic in Princess Royal Hospital in Telford.

He completed his primary medical qualification at the University of Kerala, India, followed by his Master of Surgery degree in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery at Delhi University. He later completed his training in the South West of England and Australia and was awarded his Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. During his training he spent 2 years pursuing research in olfactory biosciences at Cardiff University and was awarded his MPhil. In 2005, Mr Hari became a Fellow in Otorhinolaryngology and Head-Neck Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Alongside his clinical practice, Mr Hari is also a Senior Lecturer at Keele University Medical School. He has published several original articles and review papers in his field of expertise.
