Christian Brown is a Consultant Urologist and works as part of the prostate robotic teams at King's and Guy's Trusts. Christian trained at King's College Hospital, University College Hospital, The Royal Marsden and The Royal College of Surgeons, in addition to other hospitals across the South East of England.
Christian Brown offers both general and specialist urological care. His general practice involves the assessment and care of general urological conditions including those of the kidney, bladder, prostate and male genitalia. He specialises in laparoscopic and robotic surgery including robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) and has performed over 1250 cases to date.
Christian Brown is a lecturer on various postgraduate courses within the University of London and in Europe. He has taught practical surgical skills to trainees and consultants both in the UK and overseas.

For around 8 years I have found Christian very straightforward to deal with - friendly, approachable and with a clear way of communicating. My recent greenlight surgery, carried out by Christian, has been a game-changer. The process and experience was exactly as described and the result a delight. I am happy to leave the care of my prostate to Christian Brown indefinitely.

Mr Brown has provided unbelievable support to me over the last c15 months. He has gone above and beyond to ensure I am suitably informed but also to drive the best possible outcomes- which I am pleased to say have been delivered. His constant support and reassurance has made a huge amount of difference to how I and my family have felt and related to a very difficult situation, and I feel very fortunate to have had him acting as my consultant. He is clearly extremely knowledgable in area of expertise, but just as importantly his personal touch helped mitigate uncertainty and anxiety as I went through the various stages ie diagnosis/testing, consultations, surgery, aftercare and then subsequent recovery. He has always been on hand to guide me, despite his very busy agenda and he has a warm manner which gives you great confidence in what he and his team are doing and saying. I would recommend him very highly- it’s hard to believe there are many people in this field as accomplished as Mr Brown.

UrologyI have known Christian for many years as a registrar and over the last decade as a Consultant. He is a very experienced fellowship trained laparoscopic and Robotic surgeon with a specialist interest in prostate cancer with a national and international standing. He has been clinical lead of Kings College Hospital Urology Dept and has trained many registrars and fellows in robotic surgery. He is extremely well liked by his peers and I would have no hesitation in referring patients or recommending him as a Consultant.
