Mr Tony Chalhoub

After a long and frustrating journey trying to get answers from various doctors, I finally found the right fit with Tony. Tony went above and beyond, spending almost two hours with me at our first consultation because I have a very complicated case. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and trains other surgeons in robotic surgery, but what really sets him apart is that he understands your case and he listens to you. He went out of his way to show empathy and understanding, and he has the best bedside manner. He really is A*, 11 out of 10. He and his team are a dream team with excellent knowledge, but not only that, they have empathy and treat their clients as they would family. He gives you the advice he'd give his daughter. What more could you ask of someone? I am delighted and would highly recommend Tony.

Mr Chalhoub has been my consultant since 2018 he goes above and beyond for his patients. I have never met anyone quiet like him his approach to everything is always so positive and he wants the best outcome for his patients. Mr Chalhoub has just done surgery on me again last week 22nd September and I honestly cannot thank him enough for what he has done. I feel like me again which I haven’t felt for years. The North East lost an incredible surgeon/consultant, but I’m glad I found him again and he is the only person I will ever trust with my endometriosis and adenomyosis. You simply are The BEST.

Tony was an absolutely amazing doctor who always provided the best care. He explains everything so well and gives you the best explanations I have ever received. He makes you feel completely at ease and cared for. Sarah is also the most efficient PA and is very very kind. I would highly recommend anyone to see Tony.

Dr Tony and Sarah Chalhoub — the dynamic duo behind the practice are exceptionally professional, kind, and dedicated. From the very first phone call with Sarah to arrange my initial consultation, through surgery and right up to today, I have received a standard of care that is truly unmatched. Dr Chalhoub is a godsend , the GOAT in his field. Before my consultation, I had been given advice elsewhere that left me with very little hope. Dr Chalhoub changed that completely. He put me at ease by thoroughly explaining every option available and walking me through each step of the process with patience and clarity. My myomectomy, although complex, was successful and without complications. Everyone who saw the incision commented on how neat and precise it was. Throughout the entire journey, I have been treated with the same care and respect he would give his own family. Women are often unheard in gynaecology, so having a doctor and surgeon who is humble, patient, and genuinely willing to listen — and who consistently goes the extra mile to ensure I receive the best care possible is deeply heartwarming. The care provided by Dr Chalhoub and his team, especially Sarah, is second to none.

Went to Tony for a gender-affirming hysterectomy. He and his PA (wife) are very nice and friendly, answer any question with a clear explanation, very easily contactable and knowledgeable. They both understood my situation and never came close to misgendering me. They have had trans patients before I think so experienced in that area. Tony has trained many surgeons too so has lots of experience. Incisions are very small and in a really good place. Tony came to see me multiple times while I was in hospital.

Incredibly pleasant, thorough, and knowledgeable man. Takes great care to educate and make certain you fully know what it is you might be asking for, while also being very steady and reassuring. I'm a transgender man, and Mr Chalhoub was more understanding with my care than I could've possibly hoped for. Highly recommend.

From the first conversation I had with Mr Chalhoub he put me at ease and really understood my physical problems and all my worries. He knew exactly how to proceed, he explained it clearly to me and, with the help of his assistant he put everything in place for me to have surgery. Now I feel so much better. Both Sarah and Tony Chalhoub keep checking on me during my recovery. They really care.
