Mr Tim Worthington is a General Surgeon based in Guildford currently working for the private practise Nuffield Health. His current NHS post is Consultant General Surgeon, at Royal Surrey NHS Trust Hospital. His areas of specialism are Hepatobiliary and Upper GI surgery. His areas of interest include interventional endoscopy, hernias, upper gastro-intestinal disease and laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Mr Worthington attained Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees and a Doctor of Medicine from Imperial College London in 2002. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and he also has Fellowship from Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia, 2002. He has many professional memberships Association of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeons and Pancreatic Society of Great Britain, International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association and Ireland.

Additionally, Mr Worthington leads the Hepatopancreatic biliary unit at the Royal Surrey County Hospital and leads the development of minimally-invasive surgery for pancreatic and liver disease at University of Surrey.
