Mr Tom Lawrence

Mr Tom Lawrence is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at University Hospital Coventry and Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital. After finishing his training between Bristol and Nottingham, he completed US medical licence examinations enabling him to undergo a year of extensive fellowship training in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the world renowned Mayo Clinic in the USA. He then undertook a second shoulder and elbow fellowship in Sheffield.

Alongside shoulder replacement surgery, Mr Lawrence also specialises in the diagnosis and management of shoulder and elbow problems, offering arthroplasty, arthroscopy and hemiarthroplasty. He is known for his commitment to excellent care and the honesty and attention he provides to his patients, ensuring they have a good understanding of their condition, treatment options and likely outcome.

Mr Lawrence has published and presented widely in Orthopaedics and Trauma, and remains active in research and teaching related to shoulder and elbow disorders.
