About Mr Farid Ud-Din
Mr Farid Ud-Din is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon at Warwick University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Mr Ud-Din is director of Warwick Hip Clinic based at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital and Meriden Hospital. Mr Ud-Din covers a whole spectrum of hip related problems ranging from hip preservation to complex revision hip surgery and limb reconstruction.
He started his medical journey in 2003, with training in general and plastic surgery before specialising in orthopaedics. Mr Ud-Din moved to the UK in 2010 and completed his orthopaedic training in the Poole and Bournemouth area. He holds fellowships in hip and knee arthroplasty from the Royal College of Surgeons, England (2021) and a diploma in orthopaedic oncology from Oxford University.
Having pursued additional fellowships in hip arthroplasty, hip preservation, and revision hip replacement, Mr Ud-Din became a consultant at Oxford University Hospital in November 2021. He joined Warwick hospital in August 2022. Mr Ud-Din has a very busy hip and knee arthroplasty practice. He provides minimally invasive approaches including Direct Anterior Approach for hip replacement and has developed day case arthroplasty services at Warwick hospital. He is dedicated to educating future orthopaedic surgeons, regularly engaging with medical students from Buckingham and Warwick medical schools. He is also actively involved in research, presenting at national and international conferences.

I would highly recommend Mr Farid Ud-Din I obtained an appointment with him quickly and within 3 months I had my hip surgery He is a caring and lovely man and his attention to detail was amazing before and after I am now pain free due to his surgical skills and had no pain just some discomfort after

From the moment I walked into the hospital I felt at ease. The friendly staff , which were always polite and always smiled to the comfortable room to sit while waiting. Mr Farid Ud-Din,came out of his office and shouted my name and I was met by a warm smile and a handshake, Mr Ud-Din examined my hip and explained that he could offer me surgery, which I accepted. After explaining everything to me I left to wait a date. This was very quick to set a date. Which was in December 25 . The surgery went well and Mr Ud-Din was very reassuring and I felt very safe in his hands . After the surgery Mr Ud-Din came to reassure me everything had gone to plan. After an overnight stay I went home the next day. The follow up was very good , going to physio and having a wound check and lastly Mr Ud-Din discharging me. All in all I had a very positive outcome. And the scare I have been left with is fantastic and very smooth. Thankyou
