Mr Stephen Walsh

Mr Walsh is a fully accredited Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. They specialise in surgery of the face, mouth, jaws and head and neck and the management of the many conditions that may affect patients in these areas. Mr Walsh is on the General Medical Council's Specialist List for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as being fully registered with the General Dental Council and on the specialist list for Oral Surgery.

Mr Walsh trained in Dentistry and worked in Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Immunology and Maxillofacial Surgery posts before studying Medicine and qualifying with Honours. Their postgraduate training in General Medicine was at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford and surgical training (general, vascular & orthopaedics) and accident and emergency training was at Frimley Park Hospital, Surrey. Their higher specialist training in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery was at St Georges Hospital, London, the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, and the Royal Surrey County Hospital Guildford. They also undertook a training period by completing a Fellowship in Cosmetic Reconstructive Surgery and completed their Masters Degree in Surgical Education. They hold the Fellowship Diploma in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons England and the Fellowship Diploma in Surgery (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery) from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

Mr Walsh is a core member of the Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team and a past Chairman of the Chichester British Dental Association Branch. In addition, they are on the surgical specialty board for the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh and are a Member of the Specialist Advisory Committee for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
