Mr Stephen James Talks

Mr Talks is a Consultant Ophthalmologist. Talks trained at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, Oxford and Birmingham, after medical training in London and qualifying from Cambridge University He works at both the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle and at the Nuffield Hospital, since 2000. Talks provides specialist cataract surgery, medial retinal diagnosis and treatments, as well as general ophthalmic care.

Talks performs about 750 cataract procedures a year with excellent results and cab tailor a patient's need for glasses dependent on their specific requirements. This involves the careful consideration of the use of mono-focal, toric or multifocal lenses.
