Mr Sidha Jayabalan

Mr Sidha N Jayabalan is a highly recommended orthopaedic consultant currently practising at the Spire Bushey Hospital. He qualified from Stanley Medical College in 1972, perusing a career in orthopaedic surgery and becoming a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1984. Since then, he has completed fellowships in both Edinburgh and the University Geneva & Kantonspital Chur in Switzerland. His extensive training has given him a broad knowledge of anatomy and he has managed disorders of the arm, elbow, foot, ankle, hand, wrist, hip, knee, low back, neck, shoulder and spine.

Currently, Mr Jayabalan focusses his expertise on the hip and knee performing arthroscopic surgery and joint replacement surgery regularly. He is also interested in the diagnosis and management of arthritis, metabolic bone disease, osteoporosis, pain, rehabilitation, trauma and sports medicine. His professional memberships include the British Orthopaedic Association and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
