About Mr Sanjeev Goswami
Mr Sanjeev Goswami is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Foot and Ankle surgery. After completing his MB BS at the University of Delhi in 1984, he went on to achieve a Master of Surgery in Orthopaedics. He has served as a Consultant since 1999 and currently practices at Spire Little Aston Hospital alongside his role at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust.
Over the course of his career, Mr Goswami has developed extensive expertise in managing a broad range of foot and ankle conditions. He performs a high volume of procedures addressing bunions, hammer toes, foot arthritis, forefoot deformities, rheumatoid and diabetic foot issues, plantar fasciitis, tendon disorders, and ingrown toenails. He is also skilled in ankle arthroscopic surgery, including ligament repair and reconstruction. Although he previously carried out knee and hip replacement surgeries, his clinical focus in recent years has centred on complex foot and ankle treatments.
In addition to his surgical work, Mr Goswami provides image-guided injections in both outpatient and theatre settings. He is committed to medical education and acts as an Educational Supervisor for Foundation Doctors and junior orthopaedic trainees. Outside of medicine, he enjoys travelling, hiking, DIY projects, and playing cricket.
