Mr Sandeep Datir

Dr Sandeep Datir is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over a decade of experience specialising in hip and knee surgery, including complex joint replacements, arthroscopic surgery, primary hip replacement, total knee replacement, and partial knee replacement. Dr Datir currently sees private patients at Spire Hull and East Riding.

Dr Datir earned his primary medical degree at Nagpur University, India, after which he undertook his postgraduate qualification in orthopaedics. Upon completion of his masters, Dr. Datir was appointed Clinical Lecturer in a teaching hospital for two years, before coming to the UK to complete his specialist orthopaedics training in the Yorkshire region and the Wrightington Hospital. During this time, Mr Datir gained knowledge and expertise at a tertiary referral centre for joint replacements and minimally invasive keyhole surgery.

Upon completion of his training, Dr. Datir was appointed as a Consultant in 2010 and has since taken a keen interest in clinical research, authoring several peer-reviewed publications in renowned orthopaedic journals.
